Amlogic control board firmware unlocking kitThe AMLOGIC Control Board Firmware Unlocking Kit has everything you need to unlock your Antminer control board, to be able to install aftermarket firmware like BraiinsOS, LuxOS or Vnish on it.Starting with March 2024, Bitmain locked the AMLOGIC control boards on Antminer S19 and S21 series miners. This kit can unlock the control board so it’s ready to accept aftermarket firmware.The kit has an OTG micro-USB cable and a USB stick with older Antminer S19k pro firmware.Control board unlock instructions.Power off your miner.Insert the micro-USB connector into the control board.Power on the miner and wait for about 10 seconds for the control board LED to light up solid green.Turn off the miner and remove the OTG cable.You now have older S19k pro firmware on the control board of your miner.The miner is now ready to accept LuxOS (via Commander) , BraiinsOS (via BOS Toolbox) or Vnish (via Hashcore)Note1: In Sept 2025, Bitmain released new firmware that blocks the microUSB port that this kit uses for firmware recovery. As a result, this kit will not work for any miner with post Sept 2025 firmware on them. These can however be unlocked using procedure here. Note2 : Aftermarket firmware installation can be tricky even after unlocking the keyboard with this OTG cable kit. This kit does not come with technical support or help with aftermarket firmware installation. We are however, happy to help via our paid consulting service.
