Got your first machine? Here’s how to set up an ASIC miner, step by step, so you can start hashing today.

1. Power and placement

Place your miner in a cool, ventilated, dust-free space. Connect the included PSU and use a dedicated circuit rated for the miner’s wattage.

2. Network

Connect the miner to your router with an Ethernet cable and power it on. Wait for the fans to spin up and the unit to boot.

3. Find the miner’s IP

Use your router’s device list or an IP scanner to find the miner, then open its web dashboard in a browser.

4. Configure your pool

Enter your mining pool’s URL, your wallet/worker details and save. The miner will begin submitting shares.

5. Monitor

Check temperature, fan speed and hashrate. A healthy miner runs near its rated hashrate. Estimate earnings with our calculator.
